It’s self-check month. During the month of February, we take the time to show those around us that we care for them.
We may get them that watch they’ve been eyeing for some time or take them to the new restaurant down the block.
We make the time to appreciate them for everything they do and show them how much we care.
But what about you? February is not just the month of love, but Self-Check Month as well.
This month, I am MAKING THE TIME to check-in and take steps to take care of my physical health.
I know I only have one body, so I’m taking action and making a plan.
I’ve got my checklist. Now it’s time for you to create yours.
Check in with your body. Ask yourself, what can you do today to keep yourself healthy and strong?
These small steps can make a world of difference. Self-Check month is about taking action and being informed.
- Keep yourself informed on common risk factors that cause disease.
- Seek a doctor’s advice for preventive care.
- Learn about your family history.
- Pay attention to your body and take action when you notice something isn’t right.
Make the time. Self-Check.
